About iRescue24
iRescue24 is a leading nationwide vehicle rescue, recovery and repair company based in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester. Established in 1974, we work closely with the major motoring organisations, including RAC, Green Flag and AGA, and National Highways to keep Greater Manchester moving.
If our fleet of highly trained mobile mechanics can’t fix the problem at the roadside, our recovery drivers move vehicles safely and securely, and look after customers stranded at the side of the road. The fleet runs from service vans with rapid deployment trailers to trucks from 7.5t to 26t, from traditional flatbeds to SLA beds for prestige and supercars. We also have HEV-trained techs who can safely handle hybrid and electric vehicles.
Needing us is often a stressful experience. Customers can be scared, impatient or upset, so good communication skills are a must.

About The Person
- Class 1 HGV licence required (we’re also hiring Class 2 and 7.5t drivers)
- Confident and competent driving a flatbed
- Presentable and good at communicating by phone and face to face
- Recovery experience preferred, but not essential
